I would guess that you must have upgraded the machines with a Insider Preview at some time in the past.. This registers the machines with Microsoft's activation servers..

If you installed the free upgrade, it is the same build as the Insider Preview build 10240, at least after all of the Windows Updates are installed..

So I guess in a sense you AREWERE in the Insider Program, but it has changed slightly since the public release..

You will not get Preview builds on these machines unless you got to Update and Security.. Advanced Options.. and click on the 'Get Insider Builds'

You will need to sign with a Microsoft account to do that..

If you look at the keys the VBS Script produced, you will notice that the License is the same, but the Product ID is different.. This is one way Microsoft keeps things separate.

The actual Hardware ID that is used to register your machines is a different number..
