We continue to receive inquiries about Photoshop CS3 beta serial numbers. There are a number of issues here:

1. On Friday we discovered that a small percentage of the more than 3,000 product combinations that include Photoshop weren’t in the authentication list. Unfortunately this bit quite a few people trying to obtain CS3 serials. We fixed that issue on Friday afternoon.
2. Licensing customers have been in bit of a bind: even though they’re authorized to use a CS2 serial on multiple machines, the beta site is configured to issue serials that can be activated on only two machines. If you’re a licensing customer, please send mail to photoshopcs3beta@adobe.com so that we can follow up with you (see details below).
3. Some people are typing in the 20-digit serial number that’s visible in the CS2 About box. That makes total sense, except that the serial number is actually 24 digits long! That is, you need to get your serial number from your product materials (tips here). Again, we’re working to make this clear on the serial number acquisition page.
4. A lot of people aren’t reading the instructions on the Labs site. Many are typing their CS2 numbers into CS3, then complaining that it doesn’t work. We’re working to make the instructions harder to miss.

Customer service says they’ll turn things around in 48-72 hours. (There’s no need to call them, as phone support is not available for the beta.)

I know that it’s frustrating to hit any delays, and we greatly appreciate your patience. We’re just four days into a huge, never-been-done-here effort, but we’re making good progress.

Everything You Need to Know About Adobe CS3 for Mac

Adobe initially released Creative Suite 3, simplified as CS3, back in 2007 for artists, whether you're a student, educator, or tinkering away at home or work. There are a number of different software applications included, such as Adobe Photoshop, which is often found in various editions. It's simple enough to find the exact applications you need on eBay to satisfy your individual needs.

Installing the program is similar to most other software discs that you download to your computer. The majority of the files needed are on the installation disc. So, if installing off a disc, ensure that your computer or laptop has a disc drive to use. Once you download the software, you will need to type in the accompanying activation code in order to gain full access to the software.

Adobe CS3 for Mac comes in four different editions that have several software options installed along with them. Available editions include:

• Design: There are Standard and Premium versions of Design. Standard comes with software such as Photoshop CS3 DMG, Illustrator CS3, InDesign CS3, and Acrobat 8 Pro. • Web: Similar with Design, this comes in Standard and Premium versions. Standard versions of Web come with the likes of Contribute CS3 and Fireworks CS3. Premium has some of the same software as those found in Design, along with the addition of Contribute CS3.
• Production Premium: This shares some similar software with Web and Design, but it comes with several other options not found in the previous editions. These include Soundbooth CS3, Encore CS3, Premium Pro CS3, and After Effects CS3 Professional.
• Master Collection: For this Adobe CS3 download edition, you get all the software from the other editions sans a Photoshop CS3 Mac download, as the Master Collection edition comes with Photoshop CS3 Extended instead.

Deciding which Adobe CS3 edition to choose is done by focusing on the software within the editions. Fireworks CS3, for instance, is intended for web designers to create things such as web prototypes. Meanwhile, Soundbooth is a digital audio editor focusing purely on sounds. Before selecting any Adobe CS3 for Mac download, read the specific software to help come to a decision.
